Drugo natjecanje orača Istarske županije

Drugo natjecanje orača Istarske županije održano je 04. kolovoza na njivama u dolini rijeke Mirne, nedaleko od Livada. Pokrovitelj manifestacije je Istarska županija, a organizatori su bili Područni odjel Poljoprivredne savjetodavne službe i Udruga orača Istarske županije.

Drugo natjecanje orača Istarske županije

Prije službenog dijela oranja gospodin Mario Gašparini je demonstrirao sa svojim istarskim volovima okupljenoj publici kako se nekada oralo.

Voditelj i koordinator natjecanja bio je Dario Padro iz Zagreba.  Natjecalo se u dvije discipline, i to plugom premetnjakom su se natjecala tri natjecatelja i plugom ravnjakom jedanaest natjecatelja.

Prvonagrađeni orač u kategoriji plugova premetnjaka je Igor Ferenac iz Vižinade, dok je u kategoriji plugova ravnjaka prvonagrađeni orač Marijan Banko iz Kosinožići, nedaleko od Poreča.
Pobjednicima, Igoru Ferencu i Marjanu Banku predstoji traženje sponzora za odlazak na državno prvenstvo u oranju u Slavonski Brod, uz pomoć Udruge orača.
